Did you know….
  • One in six Queenslanders are born at the Mater Mothers’ Hospital
  • More than 120,000 children are seen in the outpatient departments of the Mater Children’s Hospital
  • The Mater Mothers’ Hospital is the busiest maternity facility in Australia, with over 10,000 babies delivered each year
  • More than 15,000 children are cared for as inpatients by the Mater Children's Hospital

As you can see, the Mater Mothers’ and Mater Children’s Hospitals are vital facilities operating in South East Queensland. Both hospitals need constant funding to support their patients, from pregnant mothers and their unborn babies through to young children. This is where the Mater Foundation helps.

All funds raised through the Mater Prize Home Lottery go directly to the Mater Mothers’ and Mater Children’s Hospitals which help provide sick babies and children with a brighter future.

The Mater Mothers’ Hospital is the premier maternity facility in the southern hemisphere providing specialist paediatric healthcare services to mothers and babies alike. The hospital specialises in the management of high risk and life threatening pregnancies and is a leader in In-Utero Surgery.

The Mater Children's Hospital provides specialist healthcare services to Queensland’s children from new born babies to teenagers. In addition Mater Children’s is a major tertiary referral centre providing an intensive care unit, theatres, inpatient and outpatient services and a 24 hour emergency department.

By purchasing tickets in the Mater Prize Home Lottery you'll be supporting the thousands of sick babies and children that come to the Mater every year. Help give these kids the exceptional care they deserve and put yourself in the draw to win a home today.
