Although Wendy was a VIP supporter of the Cash for Kids competition, she had completely forgotten about her lucky lottery tickets until an unusual envelope appeared in her mailbox...
Wendy was on the phone when her teenage son brought in the mail on a December afternoon.
“Get off the phone mum” he yelled at her! “You have some kind of express post envelope”. When Wendy opened her ‘unusual’ envelope and read that she had won the $10,000 first prize in the latest Cash for Kids lottery, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
“I was just so shocked” she said. Cleverly Wendy decided to put her win straight into a savings account as some handy security for the future. “With a teenage son, you never know what will happen” she said. “So I feel very secure having the money safely tucked away."
Despite this amazing win the most exciting part for Wendy is the $1 000 of Mater Prize Home tickets that come as part of first prize in this competition.
The latest prize home hasn’t been drawn yet but Wendy has her fingers tightly crossed for another big win and has already fallen firmly in love with the beautiful property at Noosa, and would love to keep it as a holiday home if she gets doubly lucky!
If you can picture yourself as the winner of the Mater Prize Home competition make sure you get your lottery ticket before 22 February when time runs out! Click here to get your tickets today.
