Every day the number of women affected by breast cancer grows. All of us know of someone who has become a part of this ever increasing number, whether it’s a friend, sister, girlfriend, wife, mother or grandmother. These women need support, hope and guidance and often we don’t know how to help.
During August we have the best excuse for a group of women to get together for a chat, sip coffee and have some delicious food, while supporting each other and becoming a part of our wonderful ‘sisterhood’ helping women with breast cancer. Mater chicks in pink is continually helping women with breast cancer. Funds raised go towards Mater’s medical research to improve treatment, as well as providing a positive emotional and psychological impact on these women though their many sponsorships programs, which support women who are undergoing treatment at Mater.
