Delivery truck driver, Greg Hurley, was mid-delivery when he received the life-changing call that he had won a Mater Prize Home , located in the Gold Coast hinterland.
“I could not hear the Mater caller telling me I had won over my truck’s loud diesel engine and I asked them to call back,” Greg said.
Greg didn’t find out he had won until the following week when he received a letter advising him of his win. “I was in absolute shock and could not believe I had won.”
Greg’s whole family were ecstatic and were all there to witness the handover of the home.
He is planning to move in to his new home as soon as possible and is looking forward to spending time in his new pool and sipping a cool beverage in his poolside cabana.
As well as the house, Greg also won $50 000 in gold bullion that he is planning to use for his rates and home insurance for the rest of his life.
Greg originally signed up to be a
