Recent VIP members David and Sue Martin were the lucky winners of the Mater Prize Home Lottery No.222 and the proud new owners of a luxury home in Biggera Waters. Using their brand new home as a weekender, Sue and David still can’t believe their luck every time they pull into their new driveway! “It’s like getting a present you had never expected to be given!” said an astounded Sue. The couple and their six children are long time supporters of the Mater Foundation, having had first hand experience with the high quality of care and service the Mater Hospitals offer. Long time VIP's Catherine and Val received a life changing phone call on 27th February, 2009. They had become our latest Prize Home winners and new owners of a $1million home at Bribie Island, Queensland. Inspecting their new home for the first time, both ladies where speechless! They were unsure of whether they would live in the home, rent it or sell it but whatever they decided, we are sure the win has brought them much joy.

As a 20 year-old, Donald received life-changing treatment at the Mater after a serious car accident.
